An apprentice must have sufficient following knowledge and skills to perform daily duties :
- Dispensing and supply of medicines and medicinal products
- Work effectively within the team work
- Able to Communicate effectively ion, pharmacy law and ethics
- Person centred care
- Health and safety in the workplace
To complete the apprenticeship standards, an apprentice will:
- Attend learning events as per timetable
- Complete course work and portfolio
- Any apprentices without English and mathematics at level 2 must achieve level 1 English and mathematics and take the tests for level 2
- Complete End Point Assessments
Duration: 12- 15 months
